Easter 2013

We started off this busy weekend with an Easter Egg Hunt, then off to a birthday party at a really cool kids' obstacle course right here in Bel Air! Well, of sorts. It was a bounce, and indoor tree house all in the same place! After that, we were off to another Egg Hunt. By the time we got home last night it was close to 7:30. Kids were happy, parents were tired! Today we went to PA for some family time. Great weekend - and as usual, fast!

Cute note - Last year, at the same egg hunt, Maddie was more interested in eating her brother's donut than hunting for eggs.... This year she definitely was in the spirit of exploring the grounds for some goodie treasures hidden inside the eggs. Side by side last year (Maddie eying the donut), this year Maddie holding her basket ... and so time flies. Happy Easter!

Gymnastics

Maddie absolutely loves gymnastics. Sometimes I wonder if her cheeks hurt from smiling for a full hour, she pays really close attention to the teacher's instructions and has a blast in the course they set up for tumbling, and jumping and rolling. I think this is her new favorite thing.

Happy 2nd Birthday Madelyn! Time has certainly flown by, you tell us now that you are "two" when we ask how old you are. You are growing into such an independent, fun, funny, girly girl - You love to try on shoes and mess around with my make up bag. You see me putting on lip balm, and you immediately want them as well. Pink and purple are now your favorite colors, and you prefer the pink tops. You also love it when your dad decides to paint your nails....pink. It's pretty funny watching you and him do a "mani/pedi"!

Picked out her own outfit this year! She had fun finding the eggs with candy in them..... and then taking off running so I wouldn't take the candy away.

My first movie, then my second movie

My first movie was The Muppets. I lasted a while before I got bored.

Then my second movie outing was The Lorax - just this past weekend with mommy, daddy, Ben and aunt Sarah. I had more fun walking the halls......
